The NMD is proud to announce the induction of Mark Morris and Rudolf Nureyev into the Mr. and Mrs. CV Whitney Hall of Fame in August. Mr. Morris will be present for a Q&A at the opening reception of the Mark Morris Exhibition on Sunday, August 9 at 11:30am. Chita Rivera will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for her dance films including the famed West Side Story. In addition, choreographer Karole Armitage of Armitage Gone! will collaborate with Opera Saratoga to present Dido & Aeneas al fresco in the courtyard of the NMD on August 12, 19 and 21 at 8:15pm.
