Dancing Through Time has returned Jan. – March 2024!
Dancing Through Time’s January mini-session at SOTA sold out every class with 15 enthusiastic participants so we are bringing back another 4-week session this month!
We are celebrating both Black History and Women’s History months (February/March respectively) with
Mary DiSanto-Rose (Katherine Dunham) on 2/13, Omonike Akinyemi (Eleo Pomare) on 2/20,
Johnny Martinez (Chita Rivera) on 2/27, and Mary DiSanto-Rose (Bill T. Jones) on 3/5.
These Tuesday classes begin with a virtual tour of personal artifacts of each featured artist moderated by Mary Anne Fantauzzi.
12:45-2:00 at SPAC School of the Arts. $17.50 per class or full session $70. Space is limited.

We are building a pool of presenters who may be interested in teaching at a future 4-week session on Tuesdays at 12:45. Our 2024 theme is Changing the Face of Dance in America and artists include Michael Jackson, Ben Vereen, Alvin Ailey, and Alfredo Corvino. This program began in the late 1990’s. It’s a dance sampler program, designed for active seniors (over 50). Each class has a different instructor so that participants can experience a variety of dance styles.
During COVID, a virtual version was offered, now we are excited to return to the studio.
