The Orlando School of Dance was started by Orlando and Eleaner Pigliavento in 1954, and has been a mainstay in the Capital District dance community for 65 years. Their daughters, Debra and Michele Pigliavento, are now carrying on the tradition as owners and operators, after long and rewarding careers in the professional world of dance and theater. The Orlando School of Dance offers classes to all ages and levels, focusing in the disciplines of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pre-School, and Creative Dance. Their students develop a work ethic, commitment, and discipline that will last a lifetime
