Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, (ESDC) will be performing on the grounds of Olana State Historic Site (olana.org) in Hudson with a commission for a new show, If Books Could Dance!, to incorporate visual and narrative delights inspired by children’s book authors and illustrators Maurice Sendak, Thomas Locker and Hudson Talbott. The eminent Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900) designed Olana, his family home, studio and estate as an integrated environment embracing architecture, art and landscape. A rain date has been set for September 16 at 2pm. $5 per person/ children under 12 are free!
