Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company: Unannounced

Dance in Unexpected Places! is a four part, highliy visible introduction to modern dance that will be performed by The Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company at The Arts Center of the Capital Region. Dance in Unexpected Places! engages new audiences, particularly children and families, in modern dance by offering performances that are surprising, whimsical, unconventional, and accessible. During the course of each of the four Unexpected evenings, six ESDC dancers will engage in three 20 minute performances: moving through the lobby of The Arts Center, in and around the audience, using furniture, the main stairway, the front desk, and other “unexpected” spaces, while dancing to ambient sound.
