Sat., October 13, at 7pm, ESDC (Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company) and guest artist Don Knaack, aka The Junkman, create an unforgettable evening of modern dance, live music and art. Knaack’s gamelan orchestra of oil drums, fly swatters, pot lids and plastic drainage tubing pushes the dance company into an explosion of high-flying energy and fearless athleticism. Then a breathtaking, 15’X20′ painting by Calvin Grimm becomes the set design for the eerie, undulating dance Sea Ghosts. Prior to the concert, there are afternoon Junkman Workshops!
