The Figures In Flight Dance Company is a professional contemporary youth dance troupe based in upstate New York. There have been five companies since 1990, all of which have carried the mission to celebrate diversity and tolerance. Susan Slotnick, through the non-profit organization Rehabilitation Through The Arts, created Figures In Flight 5, a one of a kind modern dance company in Woodbourne Correctional Facility, a medium securityprison for men. A Reflection of Our Lives Through Dance is a documentary about the lives and art of the incarcerated members of Figures In Flight 5.
