MOVE Dance recently received a $550 grant from Soroptimist International of Saratoga County. This generous award will allow the longstanding outreach program to offer enrichment opportunities to its members including viewing live local dance performances. MOVE will perform a free showcase of its 2014-15 works in the Teaching Auditorium of Saratoga Springs High School at 4pm on Friday, May 8th. They are also the guest performers at the High School’s Respect Award Ceremony on May 11th. Choreographer Kelly Polhemus (Skidmore ’15) has choreographed a special hip hop dance to Aretha Franklin’s original song for the occasion.
