This Special Event will help support our endeavors and help us grow into the studio and company I always dreamed we could be. For your entertainment, this event will offer a Ceremony / Showcase of Special Performances by Marcus Rogers Dance Company students and professional dancers that includes meaningful, expressive choreography and inspirational readings. We hope to inspire you and thank you for coming by sharing our talents and dedicating our work to you. For your pleasure, we will also be handing you an optional participatory FREE BONUS dance lesson after our performance, leading all who wish to move through an easy & fun mambo/cha cha combination. Also, we’ll keep it going with a brief follow along dance party led by Marcus Rogers, learning some your favorite social dance moves that will have you smiling and get you grooving to the music!
WE promise beautiful music, a 50/50 raffle to win some $, a special go home thank you gift for each party, Delicious Finger Foods & Deserts, A Chance to Sign Up for Fall classes/The Nutcracker Auditions/Our Competition Team, and open the floor to ask questions. We will conclude this momentous occasion with a special toast to celebrate life and to plant the seed of continued growth, success and wellness. Your presence will give all who attend the chance to dwell in the courage, gall and tenacity it takes to first have a dream, and then be a part of the journey we are taking to achieve it. We invite and encourage this idea for every single person who chooses this path. Marcus Rogers Dance Company opens it’s doors to all who wish to learn, improve and reach their potential. All students and parents become a part of a dance family that truly cares. MRDC is safe space for students to be who they are, and do what they love. Students are all treated special and with importance, and are held to that standard that teaches discipline and calls for self-expression to honor our uniqueness. Staying true to these values, I’ve learned that it is this attention to each individual that comprise the key-fundamental components that have made a positive difference in the lives of our students, both past and present.
