New York City Ballet will conduct children’s auditions for the two ballets Firebird and Romeo & Juliet. Application is available at www.dancemuseum.org. The following are needed: R & J involves a dance for 5 boys that is rather challenging and Firebird has 14 girls, 6 flag bearers and 2 little cape bearers–none of whom actually need to dance. Children may arrive at 1pm and parents are not allowed into the studios during the audition process.
